Hi Eddie. I don't think Kenny B is even subscribed to his own project here, so I forwarded this to his e-mail. Hopefully he'll see it.

Whatever you like really. Anything from distorted to clean with chorus. I can envision some Satriani type licks...we could keep this instrumental if you want. Or if you just like to do rythym then we could audition vocalist or other lead instrument.

Ken, can you send me an e-mail from your g-mail account so I know what that address is?

Keeper said...

Oh never mind ken I got your e-mail from that new account.

Looking forward to hearing some fresh guitar on this.

Eddie is a good man for new ideas on guitar. Should be interesting...

Ken I saw your blog. You should setup another one using the G-Mail access, so if someone posts to your blog you'll know. These blogs are great! With the new streaming juke I have setup you can put your songs on your blog to stream from our servers too. Just like you see done on F-Jam. It's virtually the same setup. If you want to know how I setup anything on the F-Jam blogs, just let me know and I'll give you the code to use on your blog. These blogs are html and javascript compliant. Can't beat 'em for free.

Oh and BTW: anyone who has google has their own picture gallery. You could put a slideshow from your own photo galler on your blog. These things are all accessable in your google account. It's really a nice system.

I use their Alert system to send me e-mails when something is posted anywhere on the net for certain keywords. It watches the whole net for me and e-mails me when there is something new... It's an amazing setup when you get into it.

sounds clean on the guitar. I would have to hear the drum track mixed with the guitar.

I don't know where to go with this project now. We need a vocalist I guess.

Eddie posted this to the googlegroup (status pages), instead of here in the project blog, so I'm forwarding it here to you guys.

I am not sure Ken is following the discussion blog, since I've finally convinced him to start using his G-mail account. E-mail was virtually useless to him before now. He finally activated g-mail at my urging, and is able to actually read and respond to e-mail. Now that he did finally heed my advice, maybe he will go to the discussion blog and subscribe so he knows when someone new joins. I am not so sure he's even aware that we have some new talent for singing....

He would perhaps need to develop a melody and maybe some lyrics (might browse the lyrics in the archive). If he got it setup that far you could indeed approach Angel to have her audition.

Let's go with rythym idea #1 for now. It seems to blend best to give more room for vocals. Then we can add to that.

Looking for some lyrics and vocals...

Uploaded Guitar only Idea 1 track for the mix. Feel free to email me if you need any changes.

Eddie's idea1 track has been renamed as "Latest_Mix.mp3", so it'll show as a stream in the new browsing jukebox on the discussion page. It also allows a stream to show on the status at the top of this page. Which ever track is the latest mix should be named "Latest_Mix.mp3" for people to hear when they browse the streams.

Status update uses Ken's password (at the top of this page).

The mix should probably be tweaked, as Eddie seemed to rush against the drums a little in his mix.

Very smooth sounding guitar playing Eddie! Distortion sounds great too. Tone is just the right blend of warm and fuzzy! :-) With a little tremelo and crunch too.
